| Gifts of Appreciated Securities | | University Lutheran Church of Hope is happy to assist you in making gifts of appreciated securities in support of our ministry.
The ELCA Foundation in Chicago handles these transactions on our behalf. We ask you to make your donation of securities to them. Cover your transfer with a letter making it clear that the proceeds are for the benefit of University Lutheran Church of Hope, indicating also any special fund you wish to support. The ELCA Foundation will acknowledge your gift, liquidate the securities, take a small fee for the support of their good work, and send the proceeds to us.
