| Care & Nurture Team | | The Care and Nurture Team works to provide support and friendship for University Lutheran Church of Hope members in various ways, including:
Feeding the Flock
Volunteers provide meals for those in need from our congregation.
Friendly Visitors
Volunteers have one-on-one visits with University Lutheran Church of Hope members who has special, long-term needs, whether at home or in a care center. The contact person for Friendly Visitors is Verle Rhoades at (651) 631-1207.
New Members
The Care and Nurture Team finds sponsors for new members, coordinates the new member potluck, supplies plants for the new members, and is involved in new member activities.
Care Packages
We send care packages to University Lutheran Church of Hope members in college and the military every year on Valentine's Day.
Prayer Chain We have a network of volunteers who provide prayer support. Ann Beane is the contact person for the Prayer Chain.
Devotional Booklets
We provide devotional booklets for members. Selections include Christ in our Home, The Home Altar, and Care Notes.
