Circles
Friendship and Bible Study

University Lutheran Church of Hope has two women’s circles. Gloria is a large circle; Dorcas is smaller.

As a community of women, created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our rights, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society and the world.

We meet monthly (September – May) for Bible study, friendship and action, using the studies in Lutheran Woman Today magazine. We cordially welcome visitors and new members. There is no need to call ahead. Here’s when we meet:

You can check out the schedule of Circle meetings here.

Dorcas Circle meets the second Thursday of the month at 9:30 in the nursery, so that participants can bring their young children.

Gloria Circle meets the second Thursday of the month at 1:30 in the Lounge. This circle serves for special events.
