 The Facilities Team is charged with the responsibility for the use and maintenance of the buildings, grounds, and equipment, and
a. is responsible for the upkeep of all grounds, buildings, and other equipment and properties owned by the congregation.
b. is responsible for periodically inspecting the appearance, cleanliness, orderliness, and maintenance of the total plant.
c. maintains an inventory of property, depreciation estimates, and estimates for replacement and repair.
d. develops and periodically reviews guidelines for the use of church facilities for activities sponsored by non-congregational groups and individuals.
e. submits a cost estimate pertaining to the repair and upkeep of the total church plant, especially as related to long range plans, to the Executive Committee for consideration in the preparation for the annual budget.
f. has the administrator as a non-voting ex-officio member.
Arts and Environment, a subcommittee of the Facilities Team, seeks to embrace art and improve the church environment. The chair of this group is Karilyn Alexander who can be reached at (612) 822-3593.
