With the disastrous collapse of the I-35W bridge, we have re-written these instructions to use alternate routes. We welcome any comments you may have to improve what you see here. From the North
Take I-35W South from I-694. When you get to the suggested diversion onto Minesota Highway 280, ignore it and continue southbound on I-35W. At Stinson, itll narrow to a single lane, which will be forced off the Interstate at 4th Street SouthEast. At the first light, turn right, take an immediate right on 8th Avenue. Proceed 4 blocks to 8th Street, turn right again, crossing over I-35W. Proceed to 12th Avenue, turn right. Now, turn left on 7th Street and look for the church on your right.
From the East
Take I-94 West to the Huron Boulevard exit. Follow Huron Blvd to University Avenue. Turn left. As you pass Williams Arena and Mariucci Arena, youll be moved over onto westbound 4th St SE. Follow 4th Street SE to 15th Avenue SE and turn right. Go two blocks to 6th Street SE and turn left. Go two blocks to 13th Avenue SE. The church will be on your right.
From the South
Take I-35W northbound toward the city. When you get to the split, follow US65/South 5th Avenue right through downtown to the T intersection at Washington Avenue. Turn left, go 2 blocks, then turn right on 3rd Avenue. As you cross the bridge, 3rd Avenue becomes Central Avenue. Turn Right on University Avenue. Proceed about a mile, crossing over the now-abandoned I-35W. Turn left on 10th Avenue SE. Proceed north past 4th, 4th, & 6th Streets; turn right on 7th Street. You will see the church on your right after a short 2 ½ blocks.
From the West
Take I-394 eastward into the city. Continue on past I-94 and into downtown. Exit on 4th Street. Continue eastbound on 4th street to Hennepin Avenue; make a left turn onto Hennepin. Continue across the suspension bridge. After 2-3 blocks, turn right on University Avenue. Proceed about a mile, crossing over the now-abandoned I-35W. Turn left on 10th Avenue SE. Proceed north past 4th, 5th, & 6th Streets; turn right on 7th Street. You will see the church and parking lot on your right after a short 2 ½ blocks.
Parking is available in our own lot on the north and west sides of the church and, on Sunday mornings, at the UTeC building (enter from 5th Street SE at 13th Avenue SE).
 The MCTO # 3 bus runs north-south on 15th Avenue. Get off at 6th or 7th street, walk 2 blocks west.
Buses # 2 and 6 run eastbound along University Avenue and westbound along 4th Street. Get off at 13th Avenue and walk 2-3 blocks north. Plan your trip at the MCTOs Metro Transit Trip Planner by clicking here:
