Gayle Bidne

Gayle writes -

I am grateful for this opportunity to introduce myself. I am Gayle Bidne, your Church Administrator. I feel honored and privileged to join all of you at University Lutheran Church of Hope.

As a child, I was a member here until my family moved to a new city. There is a sense of "coming home again" as I walk through the building.

I enjoyed meeting several of you in the interviewing process and look forward to meeting many of you in the weeks and months ahead.

Former administrator Craig Wiester leaves big shoes to fill. I am most appreciative of his cooperation and graciousness as he hands off his role to me.

Pastor Craig Shirley has made this transition easier for me for which I am most grateful.

My prior experience includes 32 years at the Board of Pensions of the ELCA as an Information Technology manager. For the past four years I have been Church Business Administrator for Gethsemane Lutheran Church and School in Maplewood, another ELCA church with a K-8 school.

My husband and I are members of Saint Mark's Episcopal Cathedral in Minneapolis.

Please stop by and introduce yourself to me.
