Camping and Paddling June 13th – 15th
Our outdoor recreation ministry is looking forward to camping and paddling June 13-15. Come
for a few hours or the entire three days. We have secured two group campsites at a great
location. This annual trip has been a popular tradition at Hope. Here are the exciting details:
- It’s at Interstate State park in Taylors Falls, MN. We’ve reserved two group campsites for up
to 35 people on each. This park is less than an hour from the metro area. - It will be on the nights of June 13 and 14…come one or both nights. Camping fee is paid for
by ULCH. Contact Bryan or Alden to reserve a spot. The campsite is on the banks of the St. Croix River - The plan is for two paddling events … a longer trip for those arriving Thursday or early Friday. It’s from Osceola to Wm O’Brien
on Friday morning (lasting about 4 hours). That start time will be determined once we know who is coming. Boats are available
for rental. Instructions for renting boats are below. - We also will offer the usual easy trip (about 2 hours) for those interested in arriving Friday night or early Saturday morning. It
will start Saturday morning at 9:00 at Interstate Park and end at the Osceola bridge. - For anyone interested there’s great hiking and biking options in this park and vicinity.
- RV camping is also an option. Those interested in RV sites may call the MN DNR camping reservation line or go online for site
options. - There will be informal campsite meals. They will be Thursday supper through Saturday breakfast.
- Group restaurant meal or picnic at the park Saturday afternoon at about 1:00. Details on this to be determined.

Women’s Retreat
Women’s Retreat January 19-21, 2024
Theme: “Rhapsody of Rest” – Reflections on Joy and Gratitude
An Invitation: Women of all ages are welcome to join us for a relaxing weekend of reflection, sharing, learning, and building community! We will have a labyrinth available again, set up in the Dunrovin chapel.
Location: Dunrovin Christian Brothers Retreat Center, Marine on St Croix
